“Regrets collect like old friends Here to relive your darkest moments I can see no way, I can see no way And all of the ghouls come out to play And every demon wants his pound of flesh But I like to keep some things to myself I like to keep my issues strong It’s always darkest before the dawn”

Can’t is a word that doesn’t exist for Spencer West. He climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro alongside his best friends, David and Alex…on his hands. He is the epitome of will and optimism, and uses his story to inspire others around the world.
Spencer now works for Free the Children and just completed an 11 day walk across Canada. The 300 km trek took him from Edmonton to Calgary, to bring awareness to the lengths people around the world walk for water.
I was lucky enough to spend a few days with Spencer to tell his story. You can find out more about his work here.
